Bay Winds Travel Agency, Inc is a full service agency with two offices located in Carroll County, Maryland. We service clients primarily in the Mid Atlantic Region who travel anywhere in the world. The agency is owned and operated by Dorie Harz and Lisa Shockney.
Lisa Shockney has spent over 15 years as a travel consultant developing relationships with her clients so that she is able to successfully plan their vacations now and in the future. Specializing in honeymoons and destination weddings has given her a unique opportunity to assist couples with their honeymoon and then all of the adventures they embark on in the years to come. She has traveled to many Caribbean, Mexican, and United States destinations with her family, friends and colleagues. Her specialties include honeymoons, destination weddings, family vacations and coordinating group travel for land and cruise packages.

Dorie's experience as a travel agent has been years in the making. She has been selling travel for over fourteen years and enjoys working with large family groups and small businesses. With a background in the insurance industry, Dorie has an eye for those small details to assure your vacation is everything you imagined. She has enjoyed traveling to many corners of the world as a travel agent, participant in group travel and family vacations with her husband. Some of the destinations she has experienced include Caribbean Islands and Mexico, many places throughout the United States including Alaska and Hawaii, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, South America and her favorite Europe.
